Work Based Learning Programs
Georgia’s Work-Based Learning program allows students to receive school credit by working with state-approved employers to gain real-world work experience. Students enrolled in construction programs can legally be hired at 16 years of age, allowing employers to connect to talent before it gets lost post-graduation. Work-Based Learning programs help provide Georgia with a sustainable future workforce for the next generation of workers. Georgia businesses that meet certain requirements can also be eligible to receive certain benefits based on student participation. Our team can work with individual employers and workers comp providers to create a plan to take advantage of this program.
